Suzan has always loved cooking, and has developed her skills over the past thirty years. Having lived in the Middle East and Africa she uses a colourful palate when creating a vast array of dishes. Thirteen years ago when the Rural Housing Trust wanted someone to cater for one of their conferences, Suzan was sought out by the organisers following a recommendation. The patron of the Trust was in attendance (HRH Princess Anne, the Princess Royal) and her bodyguard was detailed to retain the Sachatorte - which was taken back to Gatcombe Park!
After that the trickle of requests became a torrent, and Croxfords was born. Now regular events have included the Great Tew Estate Horse Trials, society weddings and a large number of faithful clients who return to her again and again for consistently wonderful food served with style on every occasion. Clients include numerous celebrities and titled dignitaries, and one or two chefs of renown in their own right. Croxfords are preferred caterers at venues such as Rousham House, Yarnton Manor and Aynho Park.
